AIDA Centre, is a RFID integrator and product developer focused in the application of the RFID technology for supporting the infrastructure operations and maintenance in several sectors as postal, healthcare, energy services and, of course, in railway transportation.

His solutions are implanted in more than 40 countries and all are managing and monitoring from his headquarters in Barcelona ( Spain) with the support of our local partners.

We offer to railway companies a product with a specific design to guarantee a long time of service in the hard environmental conditions of the railway operations. For this reason our products are submitted to stress test and certification process according to the requirements in the high-speed conditions. In this way we can guaranty the best results applying the same solution to the standard railway service.

Our R&D department is developing new RFID solutions with specific application to this sector like the RFID network that allows reduce the number of the RFID reader devices in cargo fields and decrease the cost of the RFID project implementation and maintenance.

Our system is based in UHF Gen2 standard technology. It is the real standard on RFID in operations applications. It is also EPCIS ready, the standard of the EPCGlobal organization. It makes easy to link the RFID information to your actual systems and interchange your information with other railway operators and the owner of the infrastructure.

Due to the low cost of the ID label, multiple reading ability and distance through the material or debris and adaptability of encapsulation, the RFID system is suitable for the identification of elements of the infrastructure and rolling stock.

The RFID identification solution in the railway sector is perfect for applications like: traceability of access to the railway of the rolling stock, support tothe configuration of freight trains, container tracking,  digital kilometre point reference on the infrastructure, automatic geo-positioningregistration of the infrastructure elements, positioning in tunnels, protection of equipment installed and the electricity sector in road maintenance operations and circulation.
