Torrente Ballester Library
An innovative application that links RFID with the Electronic ID
Aida Center has been designated for the implementation of an RFID system in the Municipal Library Torrente Ballester of the city of Salamanca.
The most innovative aspect of this project is the integration of the electronic ID library card and how to associate the same time SelfCheck machine with RFID technology.
Once again our country has become one of the most innovative in integrating new technologies in public services and paves the way for the integration of the electronic ID as unique identifier for users of library services. At the same time and in combination with RFID technology will create a new model of lending in public libraries.
The entire system will be connected and integrated library management system ABSYS bringing new possibilities to this software widely available in Spanish public libraries.
